Sam was recommended to us at a time when we had hit an extremely difficult time in our marriage. It was so bad it literally was make or break. I personally was a previous recipient of therapy and knew the benefits of what it brings to you personally and to those around you. My husband was slightly more sceptical but desperate to save the marriage.
The minute we met Sam we both felt instantly at ease and comfortable. We were free to talk openly without any kind of judgement. We also appreciated very much that Sam also included her own personal experiences into our sessions. She wasn’t the usual robotic softly spoken therapist, she was personable, vulnerable, wise, honest and full of empathy and love. She did lots of exercises with us that delved really deep into our lives and relationships. They taught us so much. We both had sessions with her together as a couple and as individuals. They all had a massive impact on us personally and as a couple and partnered with lots of hard work and communication and commitment to our marriage we are still standing together and closer and more together than ever. We have Sam to thank for so much of our progress and will continue to use what we learnt whilst working with her right through our future together.
We will always recommend Sam to anyone that we think would benefit from her skills and will continue to see her as and when we need to which is rare these days, sadly as we loved seeing her weekly.
Massive love and respect to you Sam x
